About

My research was on themes exploring the changing face of Punjabi language in Canada. My research interests included the exploration of the Punjabi Diaspora in Vancouver through literature, film, and other areas of popular and mainstream culture, language education in Vancouver, and diasporic notions of ‘home’. Through my research I aimed to bring to light the major areas that play a vital role in the preservation of Punjabi in Canada.

My B.A. (Sociology) is from UBC.
