This presentation brings together Forugh Farrokhzad’s poetry, film, letters, interviews, and prose to offer a portrait of a writer who reshaped modern Iranian literature by inhabiting its in-between spaces. Standing at the threshold of private and public, inside and outside, silence and speech, Farrokhzad expanded Iran’s literary language, reach, and imaginative boundaries. The talk listens closely to a voice that continues to travel across time and borders, drawing an ever-widening circle of listeners.
This talk will be presented in English. It is free and open to the public.
