 eaker: <span style="font-weight: 400\;"><strong>Ahronglong Sakinu</strong><
/span></h3><p>Born in 1972\, Paiwan tribeman\, Sakinu\, is from Lalauran vi
llage\, Taimali\, Taitung\, Taiwan. The family name “Ahronglong” indicates
the sound of thunder\, and the first name “Sakinu” represents the unceasing
gallop of animals and growth of plants.</p><p>Sakinu has no training in li
terature at all. Born in the tribe and brought up by his hunter father\, he
is now a policeman who guards the forest. However\, after the first book <
 em>Mountain Boars\, Flying Squirrels\, Sakinu</em> published in 1998\, he h
as become the winner of various literary awards. His works are selected in
primary and high school textbooks\, and chosen by Harvard University as the
teaching material of Chinese. The austere style of writing\, the profound
tribal experiences and memories\, and the ecological knowledge and traditio
nal value concealed behind his works\, have made him significant in the rea
lm of literature. He has published <em>The Wind Walker</em> (2002)\, and <e
m>The Ocean of Grandpa’s</em> (2010).</p><p>His works have been adapted var
iously into movie\, animation\, and audio books\, which he acted and dubbed
personally. What is more\, he hosts travel TV shows. He draws and carves t
alently. However\, his great sense of achievement is derived from “Hunter S
chool”\, where he leads the youth to establish their identities and persona
l value. Through Hunter School\, Sakinu realizes his dream of alternative e
ducation. From him we see the unceasing attempts and fulfillments.</p><p><s
</p><p>[buttons][button link_text="Read <em>Hunter Schoo
