 and equity\, caste continues to be ignored in Canadian discourses. Dalit an
 d caste oppressed communities in BC and across the diaspora have long spoke
 n about exclusion\, discrimination\, and the erasure of their histories. Th
 e OVERCASTE exhibit curated by Poetic Justice Foundation is one of the firs
 t exhibits in North America centered on the lived experiences of caste in t
 he Panjabi communities in BC.</p><p>The panel will feature the curators of 
 OVERCASTE Anita Lal and Dr. Sharanjit K Sandhra\; Senator Baltej S Dhillon\
 ; Dr. Seema Mahi\, Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Department of History\; 
 and with moderation by Dr. Priti Narayan\, Assistant Professor Department o
 f Geography.</p><p>This event is co-sponsored by Poetic Justice Foundation\
 , UBC Asian Studies\, Centre for India and South Asia Research (CISAR)\, Be
 longing Matters Consulting\, and Nanak Foods.</p><p>The evening will begin
