II\, Japanese was deemed the enemy language\, resulting in the erasure of c
ultural heritage\, archival sources\, and histories based on the Japanese-l

 Japanese-language book collection in Canada\, from pre-war\, war-time\, to
postwar. I deal with questions of archives and memory\, cultural and lingui
