The Department of Asian Studies, University of British Columbia (Vancouver Campus), invites applications for part-time sessional lecturers for the 2026 Winter Session to teach ARBM_V 101 & ARBM_V 102, “Introductory Modern Arabic I & II”.

Requirements:
- A minimum of an MA in a related field and teaching experience at a North American college/university or a comparable instructional context required
- Experience teaching both Modern Standard Arabic and either Egyptian or Levantine Arabic required
- High proficiency in Arabic and strong knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic grammar required
- Experience teaching Al-Kitaab textbook series preferred
