Korean Speaking Practice Forum Open for 2020W Term 1!

Korean Speaking Practice Forum is open for the first time in 2020W Term 1!

If you are learning Korean and want to practice speaking Korean, the Korean Speaking Practice Forum can help you. This is where you can meet with volunteer UBC student helpers and practice speaking Korean. Student helpers are peer UBC students who took (and may be currently taking) Korean courses at UBC or have learned Korean on their own, and can meet with you over Collaborate Ultra and practice speaking on the topic of your choice. Please note that the student helpers cannot provide grammar lessons or structured lessons, and the offered practice sessions are only for casual speaking practice.

The speaking practice sessions will be offered starting from Monday, Sept 14 until Friday, November 27.  The sign-up schedules will be released every Monday the week before. If you are interested, please sign up for a self-enroll Canvas course, https://canvas.ubc.ca/enroll/93Y8MM. You must be a current UBC student with a working CWL in order to participate. If you have any questions, please email to Eurie Shin (eurie.shin@ubc.ca). Happy Korean learning!
