Recommendations for the ethical and equitable engagement of Indigenous Knowledge Systems within the IPCC



This new report, co-authored by CIS faculty Pasang Yangjee Sherpa and supported by student assistant Dan Hackborn, outlines key principles and practical guidance to support respectful and non-extractive engagement with Indigenous Knowledge Systems within the Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to enhance global climate science and policy processes. It brings together insights from a series of listening sessions with global Indigenous leaders, thinkers, practitioners and scholars.
