I have worked in the States, Japan, and Canada as a foreign/second language instructor in various educational settings. In addition, I served as a Japanese Language Education Advisor for the Japan Foundation,Toronto, where I conducted Japanese language teacher training seminars as well as several workshops on bilingual education. After coming to UBC, I have been teaching beginner and upper intermediate level courses.
