Sukh is a PhD student studying within the Asian Studies Department at the University of British Columbia focusing on pre-modern Sikh and Vedanta literature. Primarily endeavoring to examine 19th century Braj literature in the Sikh context, Sukh is learning Sanskrit and Braj to achieve this goal. Prior to arriving at UBC, Sukh studied under Professor Ajay Rao at the University of Toronto, completing his M.A. in the Study of Religion in 2018, where he focused on Sikh versions of Sanskrit epics, such as the Ramayana. Sukh is also a qualified lawyer, having studied law at the University of Ottawa, and articled in the field of tax litigation.
