Examining Japanese Language Ideology, Identity, and Education — A Pathway to a Multilingual and Multicultural Society: My research explores the intersections of Japanese language ideology, identity, and policy, focusing on their impact on diverse users, including both the majority Japanese and Japanese language learners. I aim to develop frameworks and educational practices that challenge monolingual and fixed cultural perspectives, contributing to a more multilingual and multicultural society in Japan.
