Shirin’s research focus is on Japanese erotic fiction, particularly women’s erotica. Drawing from her experience as a librarian, Shirin is interested in exploring not only the content of women’s erotic writings, but also the production and distribution of the works within the print and digital environments. Shirin completed her M.A. and M.L.I.S. at UBC.
