Sajida Hassan Shroff is an international educationist with 18 years of experience that bridges the worlds of education and business. She is the President and Principal Consultant for EdWorx – a strategic consulting practice that works with government, corporate, educational and non-profit entities in Asia, East and North Africa, the UK, Europe, North America, and the Middle East striving to ensure that educational systems enable quality education and access. Her commitment to contextualizing education so it has positive impact on the communities served is unmatched and has been recognized as such including commendations from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (USA) and the UAE Ministry of Higher Education. This lecture will focus on the impact of Asian Studies on Sajida’s life, detailing how a degree of passion opened doors to learning, understanding and practice that have not only broadened her social and cultural understanding of the world but also impacted her professional experiences.
