In the first hour section of the event, we discuss two short stories by Shahriar Mandanipour, “Violet Orient” and ““Shatter the Stone Tooth”. In the last half hour, the professors of UBC’s Department of Asian Studies Dr. Hessam Dehghani and Dr. Mostafa Abedinifard will hold an interview with Shahriar Mandanipour about his latest novel and masterpiece “Moon Brow”(The English Translation of his work “‘Aqrab Keshi”).
