In a CNN article entitled “What Onion saga says about China’s sense of humor” UBC Department of Asian Studies Associate Professor Chris Rea was interviewed by CNN correspondent Jaime A. FlorCruz to comment on humor in China to give some context to the latest news that North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un had been named the 2012 “Sexiest Man Alive” by satirical website The Onion.
Professor Chris Rea is currently on leavefrom UBC until December 2012, while on a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Australian National University.
