Asian Studies has drafted a Climate Emergency Declaration (view it here). While we recognize that we are late in making this declaration, we are the largest department in Arts and can lead by example. This builds on the Climate Action Plan and Climate Emergency Task Force Report (with a climate justice focus and clear recommendations), and will serve as a focal point as we develop an Action Plan for the Department.
