On Friday, January 31st, Korean Talent Show and Movie Night was held at Asian Centre Auditorium. Eight teams (Aliki Didden, Britney Vincente, Daniel Zhang, Denise Su, Kinna Suh, Phoebe Tseng, Sean Park and K-Wave: Alice Li, Ashley Bate, Gabriel Le, Lauren Liao, Luke Wu, Ricca Aquino and Su Yu Ding) participated to show off their talents and share their passion for Korean language and culture. The audience voted for the best performance, and the winners are:
First prize: K-wave, who danced to the music of WayV, Bvndit and Seventeen
Second prize: Phoebe Tseng. who sang Feel Special by Twice
Third prize: Kinna Suh, who sang If It Is You by Seung Hwan Jung.
Participants enjoyed pizza and stayed for the screening of 2019 mega hit “Extreme Job (극한직업)” afterwards. It was a perfect way of spending fun Friday night! We thank everyone who participated, and hope to see you again next year.
