Dr. Mostafa Abedinifard joins the Editorial and Advisory Boards of two humanities journals



We are pleased to share that Dr. Mostafa Abedinifard has joined the Editorial Boards of Iran Namag and folklor/edebiyat (folklore/literature).

Iran Namag is a quarterly of Iranian Studies dedicated to the publication of original research in all fields of the Humanities and Social Sciences. Based at the University of Toronto, Iran Namag is edited by Professor Mohamad Tavakoli-Targhi. As a bilingual quarterly, Iran Namag accepts articles for review in Persian and English.

The  folklore/literature journal began its publication in 1994 in Ankara and is published four times a year with an international peer-review system. Since 2008, the journal has been published under Cyprus International University. The journal publishes scientific, original and high quality articles in the fields of folklore, anthropology, literature, and language/linguistics that are rigorously evaluated using a double-blind review system.

About Mostafa Abedinifard

Dr. Mostafa Abedinifard is the Assistant Professor without Review of Persian Literary Culture and Civilization in the UBC Department of Asian Studies. He is a literary and cultural critic and historian, with a special focus on modern Persian literature and the Iranian culture and cinema, within his broader interests in comparative and world literature. Outside UBC, he is serving as an Editorial Board member for HUMOR: International Journal of Humor Research and The Journal of Men’s Studies.
