This short play represents the final project for the students of first year Sanskrit at the University of British Columbia. The play is based on classroom materials designed to familiarize students with Sanskrit as a spoken idiom, but midway through that project we began to hear a different voice from Sita as she responded to frequent commands to cook rice. Come join us to see what happened next!
