The Department of Asian Studies is pleased to announce that Professor Stefania Burk is one of this year’s winners of the Killam Teaching Prize.
Every year, a select number of UBC undergraduate and graduate instructors are honored for their teaching excellence with the prestigious award. Nominated by their colleagues, students, and alumni, the candidates are subject to an adjudication process within their faculties before their names are submitted to and approved by the Provost.
