Are you psyched to know what the other universities have in plan for you?
How about being a volunteer for the UBC program and help with leading the Japanese students?
Even better! Talk with your family and be their first link to Canadian culture by letting them join your home for two weeks!
UBC Asian Studies Interests Association is collaborating with UBC Japan Association’s Summer Exchange Program (1963) to host for UBC students and students from Japanese universities, Keio University (Tokyo), Doshisha University (Kyoto), and Dokkyo University (Saitama).
For two weeks in August 2013, UBC students will visit and experience Japan, while UBC will receive Japanese students from Keio, Doshisha, and Dokkyo University.
As a UBC student, you can:
1) Experience the food, fun, and culture of Tokyo, Kyoto, and Saitama;
2) Be a volunteer to help Japanese students learn about Vancouver culture and activities;
3) And/or volunteer to be a two-week homestay family for the incoming Japanese students.
Visit the UBC Japan Association website and like the Summer Exchange Program Facebook page for more information.
