Competition Open for Canadians: Foreign Government Awards – Korea
The Government of the Republic of Korea, through the National Institute for International Education Development (NIIED), has launched its scholarship competition for Canadian students and researchers. Up to three scholarships are offered for study or research at the Master’s or PhD level in Korean studies, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and other fields of study. The Foreign Government Awards – Korea are tenable from September 1, 2016.
- Complete and submit the online application form of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD), and provide the supporting documents as requested.
- Complete and submit the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) for Graduate Students application and provide the supporting documents as requested. This application will be used in the final selection process and must be submitted in English.
UN Official Languages Student Essay Competition
Sixty students will be selected as delegates to the 2016 Many
Languages, One World Global Youth Forum and Conference
where they will create plans of action related to the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The students will
present these plans at United Nations Headquarters in New
York City in July 2016.
Call for Kimono Models
The Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre will be hosting a Kimono Fashion Show on Sunday, April 3, 2016. The event will feature kimono for all seasons, kimono accessories and Asian bridal outfits. Additionally, there will be panels related to Kimono dressing as well as kimono accessories and clothes on sale.
2016 International Relations Students Association Career Fair
The Career Fair takes place at the Liu Institute of Global Affairs on March 1st and 2nd from 6-8 pm.
