About
Hamid Sajadi is a political sociologist and his research focuses on the intersections of democracy, development, religion, and societal security, with a particular emphasis on Iran. His works combines qualitative and quantitative methodologies to address critical themes that are essential for understanding the complexities of Iran and the broader Middle Eastern region. He is currently utilizing and advancing policy learning and policy change theories to analyze disruptions in these processes within ideological systems.

Politics and Religion: Comparative analyses of religious intellectual, reformist and fundamentalist movements, examining their profound influence on socio-political dynamics.
Democracy and Development: Investigating the challenges to democracy and development with an emphasis on developing countries. The critical evaluation of national development plans and the pivotal role of civil institutions in fostering governmental accountability and advancing participatory governance.
Securitization: Delving into the securitization of social crises in modern Iran, analyzing the underlying factors that drive this process and Identifying disturbances to the policy learning and policy change process in ideological governments.
