Jasleen Kaur Bagga is currently working on twentieth-century Punjabi women’s literature, with particular emphasis on the construction of female resistance and subjectivity. Her broader academic interests span translation studies, identity politics, and oral narratives in the literary and cultural field of studies. She completed her undergraduate and masters training in English literature at Delhi University and Shiv Nadar University in India. Prior to joining UBC, she worked as a Teaching Instructor for the undergraduate courses on Critical Thinking and Academic Writing at Ashoka University.
