Major Research Interests
Classical Chinese poetry with emphasis on shi poetry of the Qing dynasty. Currently writing two books on the poetry of Wu Weiye (1609-1672) and Zha Shenxing (1650-1727.)
Professor Schmidt doesn’t accept new graduate students.
