About
Sanghyun Park is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia. His interest lies in how modern Japanese introduced during the colonial period (1910-1945) became integrated into modern Korean and continues to exist today. He is also intrigued by the perspective from which vocabulary originating in Japan should be viewed.
