As the Department Head’s Assistant, Tanya manages Department meetings, promotions and tenures, faculty merits and PSA, as well as new faculty onboarding and faculty appointments. Prior to moving to Canada, Tanya lived in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Switzerland before obtaining a Master of Arts in Creative and Transactional Writing from the United Kingdom.

A cinephile at heart, she loves exploring the human condition through storytelling and cinema, and she’s always looking for her next travel adventure to experience cultures, traditions, and most of all cuisines from around the world.
