Xian’ao received her MA in Buddhist Studies from the University of Hong Kong and SOAS, University of London. Currently she is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Asian Studies, UBC. Her research interest includes the history of Chinese Buddhism, Humanistic Buddhism, and topics on Buddhism and modern society.
