Chen, Yi-Yi is a visiting lecturer in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia. Her dissertation research focuses on Canadian Chinese literature works. Her master’s thesis, “The Homeland Consciousness in Overseas Chinese Fictions of North America,” explores how works of overseas fiction played a crucial part in overseas literature.
