Korean

The Korean language program caters primarily to non-heritage learners in the 100- and 200-level courses, but ambitious learners with a limited knowledge of Korean from home can enroll in 300- and 400-level courses, and the Department also offers a number of lecture courses in Korean history and literature to complement language study. Serious students of the Korean language can take advantage of study abroad opportunities in Korea at Ehwa Women’s University, Korea University, Yonsei University or Seoul National University.
