On April 1, the Tadoku Club (the Japanese Language Programme’s extensive reading club) held its final meeting of the term. After some individual reading time, we discussed our favourite books we read this year, enjoyed a group reading of the famous poem “Ame ni mo Makezu” (“Be Not Defeated By The Rain”) by Miyazawa Kenji, and awarded prizes for the most books read over the spring term. Thanks to all the instructors and TAs who helped to make Tadoku Club a success again this year. Looking forward to seeing you all once more in September!
