As part of our adjustments to the impact of COVID-19, the Department of Asian Studies is changing the requirements for advancement in our language programs. Any course requiring a grade of 60% or higher to be achieved in the pre-requisite course will now require a grade of 55% or higher. Students who have received credit (C) for the course through the C/D/F option will be allowed to continue to the next level in their language studies.
This applies to any course taken in 2019W Term 2 (January – April 2020) or year-long courses (September 2019 – April 2020).
