About

Ting-Hsuan Chang earned her master’s degree in Chinese as a Second Language from National Taiwan Normal University in 2023, inspired by her mother’s teaching career. She views education as a catalyst for societal progress, particularly through language acquisition fostering collaboration and communication.

With roles as a drill instructor at the 2019 UBC Summer Overseas Chinese Program and a Fulbright FLTA from 2020 to 2021, she’s facilitated language mastery for her students, who earned Fulbright Master’s Degree Program Awards. She also instructed at the Middlebury Chinese School in Vermont during the summers of 2022 and 2023.

Believing in immersive learning beyond classrooms, Ting-Hsuan is deeply committed to teaching and learning. She brings her passion and expertise to students at UBC’s Chinese Program with humility and honor.
