Episode 5: Faculty Spotlight with Dr. Alison Bailey

We ask our instructors about their early lives, career development and proudest accomplishments.  This video interview features Dr. Alison Bailey, Assistant Professor in Pre-modern Chinese Literature.

Perhaps best known on campus as the instructor for the immensely popular course, Hong Kong Cinema, Dr. Alison Bailey discusses her current research on the cultural history of filial revenge in Chinese literature and law. Recently appointed Assistant Professor in Pre-modern Chinese Literature, Bailey hopes she can give students the same sense of respect that she has developed for Chinese culture.
