New Japanese Cinema video releases in Open Education Resource series

We are pleased to share that Dr. Colleen Laird’s video series on formal film analysis has two new releases, both of which examine editing in Japanese Cinema. These videos are intended for use in Japanese Cinema and Media classrooms and include student-centered exercises, but all viewers with an interest in learning foundational skills associated with introductory-level film analysis are invited to watch.

The final two instalments of the four videos in the series are now available for viewing. All videos can be found at Dr. Laird’s YouTube channel.
