The Japanese Consulate of Vancouver and students of UBC are hosting a showing of “Light Up NIPPON,” a documentary film about the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake at UBC.
It has been 2 years since the massive earthquake hit Japan on March 11th 2011. This documentary showing is held in hopes of providing an opportunity for many students to take some time to think again about the disaster and discuss what can be done to support the recovery of the affected areas.
