The 27th BC Japanese Speech Contest at UBC



The 27th BC Japanese Speech Contest was held at UBC Asian Centre on Saturday, March 7th, 2015. Students learning Japanese at universities and language schools presented their speeches in four categories: Beginners’, Intermediate, Advanced and Open. There were thirteen UBC contestants who passed the preliminary screening:  Tianye Guo, Thomas Pride, Pichada Wangsangthong, Yeji Ahn, Jessica Guan, Yeeun Elaine Ham, Surin Irene Jung, Jaeyong Kim, Richard Wu, Ketty Zhang, Eva Qiu, Qi Shen, Jessie Yang.  Eight of our students won prizes in their respective categories.
