Leo-Thomas Brylowski, who studied Korean with Dr. Bruce Fulton during his undergraduate years at UBC, has been awarded the Korea Times Grand Prize in its 50th Modern Korean Literature Translation Awards.

Aaron Throness, a fourth-year Asian Studies undergrad student, recently had his essay published in Snergy: The Journal of Contemporary Asian Studies hosted by the University of Toronto.
